Happy Birthday Mom!

We went to my Mom and Dad's for the weekend.  It was Mom's birthday on Sunday.  We celebrated with crock pot chocolate cake on Saturday night.  Josh helped Dad put steel on the roof of one of the old pig barns that he's using as a storage building.  We had a good time.  Johnny finally got to go sledding again.  We got enough snow for me to pull him around in the sled on Saturday morning (before it melted).  Johnny loves to see the cows.  We had a really great time!  We enjoyed visiting together and watching football.  Mom and Dad both had relapses on their colds over the weekend.  So that was kind of a bummer.  Hopefully they both feel a whole lot better really soon.  John and Olue are getting over their colds.  This morning was the first morning that they both got up without any crusted snot on either of their faces...Yay!

Playing Cowboys and Indians
Mom and Dad tore down a building this fall.  Dad found his old Cowboy and Indian toys as they were demolishing the building.  He washed them up and had a great time playing with John.

I went downstairs to get some potatoes to bake for supper and when I came back up, this is what I found...
Lu and Johnny with their pants on their heads

Lu:  "This is fun!"  John:  "This feels weird."

Lu readjusted her turbine, while John is wondering why we're still taking pictures.

We finally got the pic we wanted...This is what they looked like when I came up the stairs.  They were both crawling toward me smiling and giggling!!!  They are so cute.
Dad always has fun ideas to get the kids playing well together.  Lu Lu had been crying, trying to follow me when I had gone downstairs.  What a game he started to get her happy!

Josh had today off work.  We got all our seeds ordered today.  It's nice to have that done.  It's exciting to look ahead to summer time and our plans, but it's nice to know that it's only January and we have some time left to relax before the crazy summer begins.

I can finally feel the baby for sure (I was sure if it was the baby or just gas up until now).  It's really reassuring to feel him move around throughout the day.
