Winter...Spring...Winter...Spring...Winter! Hay what happened to summer!

Okay, so the snow melted again and we had a fairly lovely weekend, though we weren't motivated to do much since there was a forecaster snowstorm for Sunday.  Good thing we didn't do anything rash like plant lettuce or potatoes!  (A year ago Sunday we did plant our lettuce.)  Because we set the all-time record for snowfall in April (in only one day).  I think it was over 16 inches.  I don't remember.  Saturday night we went to bed at midnight and all was brown.  By 7 o'clock Josh started for the church in the truck (he usually snow-blows the sidewalks).  He only drove 3 blocks before he turned around for fear of getting stuck.  We didn't make it to church that morning.  It snowed like mad all day and blew too.  The capitol was closed til noon on Monday, so Josh took the whole day off.  We blew the snow (and shoveled) twice on Sunday and again on Monday so that the snow-blower could do most of the work.  It is crazy how much snow we had.  The temperatures were fairly nice and the kids got to play in the snow during the storm.  I'll let the pictures tell the rest of the story...

Kitty liked the fort

We got baby chicks last Thursday.  Josh built a big draft guard with cover and the chicks are doing great!
Bath time fun after a busy day playing in the snow.

Jeremiah is starting to walk along things like the tub
 Building a dining room table
Josh is building a new dining room table we're pretty excited about it.  It's made out of the old wood from the fence we tore down last year.

Gotta go, Jeremiah's up from his nap.
