New Pictures

John:  "Can we PLEASE go outside now?"
Olue:  "I am sooo exausted!"

Daddy's taking Johnny to work for lunch.

I love chickens!

I'm gonna catch one of you, "Mow"

Double fisting the yogurt.
John is getting pretty good with forks and spoons.  He now insists on using a "spoon" at every meal.  He even used a fork to eat toast yesterday.

More changes to the yard.  Josh cut down the pea shrubs by the fire pit today.  Next step:  pull out the roots.

Josh was busy today.  He got the house garden and potato garden tilled and tilled up some sod to expand the paddock garden.

Lu-Lu is wearing Johnny's old camo "coat".  (John still thinks it's his.)

What a cute Smiley Girl!

More from Grandma & Grandpa Loegering's

Here are some more pictures from our last weekend's trip to Grandma and Grandpa Loegering's.

Snow Storm

Here are some pictures from our last storm a week and a half ago.  Though not as impressive as last year's Good Friday storm that knocked out our power for the weekend or the spring before that we got over a foot of snow.  The most depressing part of this storm was that the yard was already drying out before we got all this snow.  We're hoping this was our last snow storm of the year and that we'll be able to plant potatoes in a couple of weeks.  The snow has mostly melted by now and the driveway is a muddy mess again.

Karen Becker

The Becker's Christmas Photo

Please pray for Karen Becker and her family.  She just passed away from cancer on Saturday.  Darcy and Karen and their kids have become good friends since we moved to New Salem.  They have such a strong faithfilled family.  Their faith will definately pull them through this difficult time.  Darcy said that she went peacefully and that he is jealous that she gets to go to heaven before him. :)  Their kids, Ashley, Jennifer, Logan, and Levi seem to be doing pretty good.  They were at CCD this morning.  Logan is a second grader and volunteered to lead part of the Rosary today at the end of class.  He did a really good job!  Darcy even brought us milk today.  We'll all miss Karen, but she's in a better place.  I think that her family that is still here will do just fine with her watching over and praying for them from heaven.

Post-it

One day last week, I woke up early to some strange noises coming from the dining room.  I came out to find Johnny playing office at the table with post-it notes, a highlighter and some pens.

Chicken Coop

We put steel on the Chicken Coop roof this weekend.  It went really well...We're still married!

Memories from the 4th last year

Sue almost peed her pants when she saw Josh's face!
