Christmas, Olue's birthday, and more...

We had a wonderful Christmas.  We spent it with Josh's family in Minnesota.  New Years weekend Mom and Dad came to New Salem to celebrate Christmas and Olue's birthday.  We had a lot of fun with all of our family.
Olue is two years old.  Crazy!  She is talking all the time.  She's to that point where she knows so many words (but can't pronounce them clear enough for me to understand all of them).  She also talks about things that have happened or things that are going to happen, so sometimes language can be frustrating   I remember Johnny going through this too.  She'll get through it.
Johnny is my big helper.  We've started a chore list for both him and Lu.  More for John, but Lu gets included because I can't do something with just John.  John loves doing his chores and getting stars for them. He also loves going outside and wants to be out there all the time.  It's been really nice out lately.  We've gone sledding, cross country skiing (sometimes pulling John and Olue behind in the sleds), building a fort, and Lu Lu's favorite...eating the snow.  The snow is pretty dirty here, so she's looking forward to the coming snowstorm so she has some clean stuff to eat;).
Jeremiah is growing fast.  He can spin around and scoot backwards on his tummy.  I've seen him army crawl a tiny bit forward to reach a toy and I've seen him get up on all fours, so I'm sure it won't be long before he's moving forward fast.  He has two bottom teeth and I'm guessing he's working on a third on the bottom since his finger is always right there in his mouth.
Dad got the flu (fever type) when they were here and passed it on to Josh, who always gets sick this time of year.  He was laid out the end of last week.  Johnny and I have had a cold, but Olue and Jeremiah are still in the clear...Thank goodness!
I am uploading my Christmas pictures to snapfish today, so if you'd like me to share them to you that way, just send me an email, since I can't do it here.
