Please Pray

Please pray for my Grandma Fischer.  We saw her last on August 26th after mass in Valley City after spending Saturday at Jake and Ruth's.  She got to hold Jeremiah and was happy to see Johnny and Lu Lu too.  She went to the hospital that Friday, August 31st.  They found a 10-11inch tumor.  It took two weeks in the hospital to diagnose it as a rare cancer of the soft tissue.  She was moved to palliative care in Fargo on Sunday morning and is now deteriorating quickly.  The doctor gave her 2-4 weeks on Saturday but is now saying 2 weeks.
We're all shocked since she was working as director of the Valley City library up until she went into the hospital 3 weeks ago.  We love you Grandma!!

Also, a friend from New Salem, "Grandma" Helen just passed away Tuesday.  She's been under hospice care in the nursing home for about a month or so.  Please keep her and her Family "Grandpa" Jim and their 6 children and lots of grandchildren in your prayers.

Johnny is now at the age where he kind of understands what's going on.  He asks about Grandma Helen and Grandma Fischer all the time.  This morning he started to cry after another one of our death/heaven talks.  I asked him why he was crying.  He said he was worried about Grandma Fischer.  I think he's worried that she's going to die too.:(

I better go get some soup beans picked.  They drying too fast!:)
