Pictures from July and August

Okay, tonight I'm taking the plunge and posting over a months worth of pictures.  We'll see how it goes.  Josh is going to watch the Vikings tonight and I'm in the middle of making bagels, so I guess it will depend on how good the kids are.  And I think Jerry is in our room....Not getting off to a good start.  Better go see what he's up to....Okay, I found him carrying Josh's calculator (the one he's using for the PE) and his glasses dropped on the floor a few feet behind Jerry.
Well it has been so long since I've uploaded pictures that it took me a while to figure out how to do.  Sounds sad doesn't it.  There's only one usb port on this computer that works with the camera...Oh well.
Josh is at the church right now, helping with a little cement project in the parking lot.  Johnny is sitting on the porch waiting for him to get back.
Okay, now I can start to upload pics to the blog...

The boys went out deer scouting and met up with a couple on their horse carrage.  They took the young'uns for a ride.

Alright.  I better go.  The realtor will be here soon to go over a new purchase agreement on our house.  My bagels having been rising too long...Ooops!

 

Foods that make John puke

We can now add to the list of foods that make Johnny gag and puke...Cherry tomatoes.
None of my kids have ever had stomach flu or thrown up from being sick.  John has gagged and puked numerous times when Mean Ole Mommy makes him eat his vegetables.  He is getting very good at it though.  This time he puked out the tomato and an entire cup of smoothie onto his plate.  Nice and easy clean up.  Just so you know and so I remind myself not to ever make him eat them again the list includes:

• Corn
• Zucchini
• Cherry Tomatoes

Sometime I'll get the ambition to post pictures to our blog...but not tonight.

Jeremiah eats dirt

Jeremiah has now become sophisticated.  He eats dirt with a spoon.  While reading to John and Lu before nap time, Jeremiah was left quietly unattended.  Key word here is "Quietly".  I saw him carrying Lu's play soup ladle while I took the kids potty and got them into bed, but didn't think much of it til I came back out of the bedroom.  There was a trail of dirt all the way through the dining room from Jerry's favorite potted plant to where he stood.  Roll my eyes, shake my head, and retrieve the vacuum for the 2nd time today and probably 7th time this week.  He is a stinker and he knows it.  He is now up and not ready for a nap and knows the other two are sleeping.  He tries to break into their bedrooms.  But it only works the first time.  I better go give him some attention before he unplugs my computer...I said he was a stinker!
